That rumour doing the rounds is true; Carl had an unfortunate accident and broke his collarbone in Taiwan last week. Carl: "We did a show in Taiwan, afterwards we were in high spirits and went to a karaoke bar till the wee small hours. As we left the club, there were some kids outside in the car park, one of them was on an old Triumph. He beckoned me to jump on the back of the bike. Seemed like a good idea at the time so I jumped on and before I had a chance to grab onto anything he shot off, I stayed still the rest is history..... all very Wacky Races."

07/08 Dirty Pretty Things to play London gig for Make Roads Safe campaign - win tickets

Dirty Pretty Things have announced that they will play a special gig at The Coronet, in South London, on September 13th in support of Make Roads Safe, an international campaign calling for the G8 to take action on road traffic injuries, which kill more than 1.2 million people around the world, the majority in developing countries. Road deaths are a global epidemic on the scale of Malaria and TB.
